Maraguinot started playing volleyball when she was in high school in her hometown of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. From there, she went on to play college volleyball at Ateneo de Manila University where she won three championships with the Lady Eagles. In 2013, Maraguinot would go on to become one of the youngest members of the Philippine Women’s National Volleyball Team. During her time with the team, she won numerous medals including a bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games and a silver medal at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games.
Maraguinot also had a successful career as a professional volleyball player. In 2016, she signed with Bangkok Glass FC in Thailand’s Professional Volleyball League (PVL). With Bangkok Glass FC, Maraguinot helped lead the team to two championships before signing with Petro Gazz Angels in 2018. She then signed with Perlas Spikers in 2019 and led them to their first ever championship win that same year. She has since moved back to Bangkok Glass FC for 2020 and is currently competing for them in the PVL.
In addition to all this success on court, Maraguinot also won several awards throughout her career including 2017 MVP in Thailand’s PVL Open Conference and 2019 Best Opposite Hitter of the Year by Sports U-Net Magazine Japan Awards among many others.
